Masterclass 02

Narratives, Ranking and Leadership

Understand the story, and you begin to see the power dynamics.

Geometric concrete architecture with intersecting structures, stairs and dramatic shadows.

Organizations are shaped not only by structures and processes, but also by stories: who we are, what matters, who belongs and who has influence. These narratives guide behavior, often without us noticing.

In this masterclass, we explore narratives, ranking and leadership. Ranking refers to formal and informal hierarchies of status, position and influence. Who gets to speak? Whose perspective matters? Which stories keep existing relationships in place?

We examine how leaders consciously or unconsciously reinforce or challenge dominant narratives — and how more productive conversations and new possibilities for collaboration can emerge

What you will learn

  • Recognize dominant and competing narratives
  • Explore formal and informal ranking and power
  • Understand how leadership shapes culture and meaning
  • Design conversations and interventions that open new perspectives

How we work

Using real-world situations and your own leadership or team challenge, we practice listening, interpreting and creating space for dialogue.

Who this is for

For executives, leaders, HR professionals and organizational consultants who want to look beneath the surface, ask sharper questions and use cultural insight to make better decisions and lead meaningful change.
